Brussels Hotels
Brussels maybe overpowered in respect of tourist appeal in comparison with its more affluent neighbors Paris and Amsterdam, but the city has a lot to offer in terms of historical buildings, modern buildings and hip pubs and clubs.
The Grand Place is a medieval square surrounded by beautiful buildings dating back to the 17th century. The Manekan Pis, the statue of a little boy and a fountain is synonymous with Brussels. There is a Musical Instruments Museum, which displays over 1000 ancient and rare musical instruments. The St. Michael-St. Gedula Cathedral is an old Cathedral with some very fine stained glass windows and architecture.
The city has a passion for good food. The novelties would include mussels served with French fries and Waterzooi – chicken or fish stew in white wine cream sauce.
There are many hotels chic in design with cozy rooms and within accessible distance from major landmarks and tourist attractions.
